Creating Menu Item

This is a 2 step process. First you have to create a Node (page/gallery/product) then the menu item that you going to link to the node.

1. Create a node
2. To create a menu item linked to a page first you need to grab the address of the page you have created: lets say you've added About us page to your site, the address will then be http://fastdesign.com.au/about-us from here you need to select about-us  so with your mouse highlight this section from the address and copy it.
3. Go to Site building>Menus>List menus and choose Primary links and Click Add item. Now you should be on the Menu settings page
4. In the Path paste the copied about-us in Menu link title enter About Us and same in Description. Click save at the bottom.
5. Now you have created linked menu item (at the bottom of the list) that shows on your website.
6. To position it in the section you want find the menu item you just created point your mouse over the arrowed cross on the left side of the menu item and drag it up to the desired location on the list
7. Save configuration. and you are done.
